This section explains how Kaada Group processes the information you send us when you email us, call us or contact us on WhatsApp, in accordance with Ivorian Law No. 2013-450 of 19 June 2013 on the protection of personal data. The website contains no forms.

What we do not do

We do not sell or rent your data. We do not use it for targeted advertising. We do not make any automated decisions based on your data. We do not add you to any mailing list.

What you share with us

You choose the information you send us. Only include what is useful for your request: your name, organisation, how to contact you and the subject of your request are enough.

Contact or assessment requests (email, phone, WhatsApp)

• Purpose: to respond to your request and to prepare an assessment or a proposal.
• Legal basis: the pre-contractual steps you ask us to take (responding to your request, assessment, proposal).
• Data: the data you give us (usually your name, organisation, email address or phone number, and the content of your messages) and the number from which you call us or write to us on WhatsApp.
• Recipients: the Kaada Group staff responsible for replying to you; our email service provider for emails.
• Retention period: 12 months after our last exchange if your request does not lead to a contract. If it leads to a contract: for the whole duration of the contractual relationship, then for the periods required by law.

WhatsApp: if you write to us on WhatsApp, your messages pass through that service, operated by Meta (United States), whose privacy policy governs how it works. Kaada Group remains responsible for the exchanges it keeps, for the periods stated for contact requests. If you prefer, write to us at contact@kaadagroup.com or call us.

Job applications sent by email

• Purpose: to review your application and contact you about the current recruitment. If you give us your written consent, to offer you other positions for 24 months.
• Legal basis: the steps prior to a possible employment contract, which you initiate by applying. Keeping your application for 24 months is based on your consent, which is optional and can be withdrawn at any time.
• Data: the data in your email, your CV and your cover letter. Your CV does not need a photo, your age or your family situation.
• Recipients: the people involved in the recruitment and our email service provider.
• Retention period: until the end of the recruitment for the position concerned, then no more than 3 months if your application is not successful. With your written consent: 24 months after your application is sent, unless you withdraw that consent. If you are hired, your application becomes part of your employee file.

Website hosting and technical logs

The website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., 101 2nd Street, San Francisco, CA 94105 (United States). Like any hosting provider, Netlify records visitors’ IP addresses and technical browser information in order to display the website and protect it against attacks. These logs are stored in the United States, for the period set by Netlify. Kaada Group does not use them to identify you.

Your data is not disclosed to anyone else, except where required by law (a request from a competent authority).

Your rights as a data subject

At any time, you can:

• find out whether we hold data about you and obtain a copy of it (right of access);
• have it corrected, completed or updated (right to rectification);
• have it deleted (right to erasure);
• object to its processing on legitimate grounds (right to object);
• receive the data you have provided to us in a commonly used electronic format, or ask us to transmit it to another organisation, where the processing is based on your consent or on a contract (right to data portability);
• withdraw your consent where it is the basis for the processing (keeping your application for 24 months), without affecting what was done before the withdrawal.

The heirs of a deceased person may ask us to take the death into account and to update that person’s data.

If you live in the European Union, you can also request the restriction of the processing of your data.

How to exercise your rights: write to contact@kaadagroup.com (or to carrieres@kaadagroup.com for a job application), stating your request. If we have reasonable doubts about your identity, we may ask you to confirm it; the one-month period then runs from your confirmation. We reply within one month of receiving your request.

Complaints: if you believe your rights have not been respected, you can lodge a complaint with ARTCI (Autorité de Régulation des Télécommunications/TIC de Côte d'Ivoire, the Telecommunications/ICT Regulatory Authority of Côte d'Ivoire), the authority responsible for personal data protection in Côte d'Ivoire: www.autoritedeprotection.ci.

Security

The website is served over HTTPS only. Access to the messages we receive is restricted to the Kaada Group staff who need it. Attachments are scanned by antivirus software before they are opened.

Cookies and trackers

This website does not set any cookies and does not store any data in your browser. It uses no audience measurement, no advertising and no embedded social media buttons. The fonts are hosted on our own servers: no browsing data is sent to Google or any other third-party service when pages are displayed.

Links to WhatsApp or other websites take you away from this website: the privacy policy of those services then applies.

If an audience measurement tool is added, this page will be updated before it goes live and, where the law requires it, your consent will be requested.
